How many 2, 3, and 4.

That whole image just doesn't make sense because those cubes are suspended?

Get a piece of paper and hold it to the bottom.. the entire bottom row should touch the ground leaving you with 1 row sticking out with 3 cubes and 5 stacks in the back..

Some one correct me if im wrong..

keyholes and TFE helped me on this one i think

think about looking that object from the top, it should b somewhat of a L shape

does that help?

i did that and go that problem right on CDP i think, it says its an illusion, which it is

Hey, I've been having a little trouble with the CDP illusion problems so I just got a set of building blocks today to try building some of the problems. Here's what the illusion problem that you're asking about looks like in real life.

Here's another view of it just for more clarification:

I tried to recreate the original image as accurately as possible but these images were taken on my laptop webcam with a little makeshift photo shoot on my desk. Hope they help! I honestly feel like the CDP images kind of distort what the real images would look like. Are the real DAT problems going to do that too?

holy crap, i didn't even realize that. still though, there are blocks that are not visible behind that tower in the front....

I thought you're supposed to assume they arn't there if you can't see them and they arn't necessary to support anything.

Is this example one of those illusion ones that ppl say aren't on the real DAT?? I had trouble with this particular one also lol.

I agree...Snowy, you have no idea how many times I have seen this EXACT same cube counting illustration asked about on the forums. This visual aide probably helps a lot more people than just an explanation! Nice job 👍
