During a WORKING SIDE MOVEMENT the oblique ridge of MAX 1ST MOLAR pass through which sulcus of a permanent mandibular first molar?

MB sulcus
DB sulcus
ML suclus
DL sulcus.

ans is DB sulcus but i think DL.. can someone explain WHY DB?????????

oblique ridge extends from DB to ML so lets take it as a little on both sides from the central fossa. now what articulates in teh central fossa is the DB cusp of Mn 1 molar. in working side movement the end result would be cusp to cusp relation and not beyond that. so the maximum it can go is till the DL cusp tip...on its way it passes through the DB sulcus. i hope i was able to put some light on it

tnx chief..got it..i just didnt think shaply.. i think DA questions are the most challenging..maybe because it wasnt a major subject in my school..as opposed to pathlogy,biochem and physio..
