Hi, took DAT today and here it is. The scores are not as high but wanted to give you guys some more details and ask you some of your opinions of my RC - low score

AA 19
TS 20
Bio 20
Gchem 19
Ochem 23
PAT 17
RC 16
QR 18

GPA: 3.94
SGPA: 3.96

Bio: There were definitely more application questions. It is not just memorization type of questions. You need to apply your knowledge on science test /lab scenario and you need to think about what is happening.. I would advise anyone studying to understand the concept of main points rather than just memorizing keywords..Didn't have any phylum or genus questions. Destroyer, kaplan, cliff AP Bio would help but once again, need to understand the basic concepts...for ex, cell differentiation, hemoglobin graph,,etc..

GChem: There were a lot of concept questions.. only a couple of calculations..

OChem: I studied Destroyer and kaplan white book and it was very straight forward.

PAT: Well actual keyhole pictures are not scalable at all (much smaller)...and angle were impossible to distinguish with your eyes only...others were not too bad even though I didn't score high.

RC: man.. I read the first passages using kaplan method (read all paragraphs first, wrote down some keywords) and tried to answer, but I still couldn't find some of the answers because all of the answer chocies were reworded.
So next passages, I went directly to questions and tried to find the answers but that was not working either. overall, there were a lot of tone/inference type of questions, which I am not very good..In order not to make any mistakes that I have made, make sure to do some inference/tone practices.

QR: I was usually pretty good with math, but I ran out of time and I didn't answer last couple questions.. each question is very time consuming... a lot of trigs, geometries, some mile -> yards conversions, I only had one probability question.

Well, I am happy it is all over but I am worried about my RC. I don't want to retake DAT again because I am afraid that it will be too late to take again..

What do you guys think about my RC and my chances? I would appreciate any comments..and also if you need any more details about the test, let me know..
and good luck to any of you taking DAT soon.

You have good DAT and GPA. I think you have a high chance of getting in.

You def got a good shot.

Some schools may look over the RC, others will dwell on it.

But overall, great GPA, DAT very solid (except RC). No worries.
