This is question #6 from Chemistry Test 3 QVAULTDAT:

Determine the numerical value of the rate constant for the reaction A+B-->C from the experimental data given below.

E [A] Rate
1 .45 .26 1.00
2 .90 .26 1.05
3 .90 .52 2.03

A) k=(0.26)(0.45)

B) k=0.26

C) k=(0.26)^2(0.45)

D) k=(0.26)(0.25)^2

E) k=(0.31)^3(0.25)

How is the correct answer B??? I keep getting K = 1/.26 = 4 since R=K. Does anyone know why B is the correct answer?
