I've been pretty busy throughout college (mostly last two years, I am a senior now) but I haven't done much related to medicine. I've worked part-time in IT industry, worked as a pharm. tech, had a summer internship in a record label. I have only begun volunteering in a hospital in August. I plan to continue there and possibly volunteer in another hospital. I will also be doing research at my school next semester. I haven't done any of the altruistic stuff a lot of pre-meds do like tutoring and I never joined any clubs because there wasn't even one that seemed interesting. I only have have until June (when I'm applying) to improve my ECs. What can I do until then? Is pharm. tech. considered a somewhat medical experience? Thanks in advance!

Even if you did join something now, it probably wouldn't help you that much anyways. These people love to see commitment and serious effort/time put into ECs. I'd say just work on making sure the rest of your application is strong and if you bump into something that you like, do it. I, for one, was never interested in volunteering so I didn't do it. One interviewer asked me about volunteer experience and I just explained I wanted to devote more of my time to my other activities than do something I wasn't passionate about.
