in the micro section, where they give you the sample clinical cases, they say a case with a patient with mono involves abnormal B lymphocytes while when you look at the FA section where they talk about Miono, they say the atypical lymphocytes are "T" cells. I checked CMRS and it was confirmed to be T cells.

anyone else agree?

Bit of a tough one. Arent the B cells truly abnormal in EBV? EBV infects them via CD21 and they proliferate. The classic "atypical Cells" of EBV are indeed T cells (CD8+ I think) fighting the infection,

So, atypical cells = T cells but the B cells are definitely abnormal.

EBV infects B cells, but it is the T cell that's "atypical"
