Diabetic Care Rx LLC, AKA Patient Care America is being pursued by Tricare under the False Claims Act for doing the typical Florida kickback scheme.

They made $68,000,000 from Tricare by having telemedicine quacks write prescriptions for "creams and vitamins."

Absolutely nuts.

Strangely enough, their website is down

68000000 not bad, but did the operators escape to the third world or will they get a slap on the wrist?

What is going on with Florida and all of these scams?

It is nuts.

The crazy part about it is how brazen they are.

It makes me think there has to be an unseen actor behind the scenes and the schmucks like Doctor M are just talkin the fall

Well it does seem that Florida has more than its fair share but this is going on nationwide:

Texas, CMGRX, $100 million fraud
Ten Additional Defendants Charged in $100 Million TRICARE Fraud Scheme

Florida, A to Z Pharmacy, $100 million fraud
Owner of Florida Pharmacy Pleads Guilty in $100 Million Compounding Pharmacy Fraud Scheme; Real Properties, Cars and a 50-Foot Boat Will Be Forfeited

Tennessee and The Medicine Shoppe in UT, $65 million fraud
Tennessee Couple and Utah Pharmacy Indicted for $65 Million Tricare Fraud

My suspicion is that this scheme was passed around at one of the compounding associations like PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America) which is full of independent pharmacy owners desperate to make a buck, and then it just spread like herpes. They are all going to get 'REKT' for this. The claim records are all there in Tricare. It's just a matter of time to work through the justice system.

Thank God. They deserve it
