The Jolt: Grady could get cash infusion as Wellstar closure looms
In the wake of last week’s surprise announcement that the Atlanta Medical Center will close its doors, state and local officials are now discussing a new package of aid to Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta’s only other high-level trauma facility.
I'm sure there will be a lot of concerns from Georgia citizens why rural South Georgia is funding an Atlanta hospital if state funding increases. Grady already receives millions per year for a useless call center that EMS does not want to use.
