Hi, I have another question regarding letters of recommendation. Would it be alright to use, as one of my science letters, a letter written by a post-doc I have worked for in a lab? Technically speaking, he has assigned me a grade and has also worked with many other undergrads so he can evaluate me in a comparative sense. He knows me well both academically and personally. Do you think I can pass it off as one of my science letters?

I think getting a recomm from a post-doc is great.

Thank you legi2000! What I'd like to know more specifically is if I can use it as one of my 2 science letters even though, technically, it's not a class?

I asked my math professor (who is a post-doc) for one of two science recommendations.
I don't see much difference between a post-doc and a professor. They both have PhD!

Thank you very, very much! I was getting a bit worried.
