I need two science prof. evaluations. I have one but am having a hard time getting the second. Would schools accept a letter from my advisor, a science professor, even though I have never taken a class with her...?

you have to look it up on their website.

It really depends upon schools.

Ex. Maryland wants 1 from bio professor and 1 from chem profssor, which both of those being from your pre-req courses.

Some schools may take a letter from your advisor but most schools prefer letters from a professor that you have taken a class with.

In my case, I got one from my research advisor, but I was in his orgo I class, so it worked out.

You should definitely check out the schools websites. 👍
