Ok, so far, I have 5 LORs in my packet: 1 from my physics professor, 1 from a cog psych professor, 1 from the psych lab I was an RA for, 1 from the volunteer coordinator of my recent/on-going clinical experience, and 1 from a doctor who knows me well who I volunteered for in the past. I was supposed to get one last letter from a biology professor, because I did very well in his class. I asked him back in late April, he asked me to come meet him in May, and we discussed everything and I gave him all the required paperwork/evelopes ect. He told me to send him an email around June when I really need it because he is busy and has a lot of other LORs too. So I emailed him beginning on June, and didn't get a response, and then emailed him again yesterday and am waiting for a repsonse (he usually responds quite quickly). I don't know if he's out town (but usually they have some automatic email response when they are), or if he is just busy, or if just doesn't want to do the letter anymore...I figured I can maybe wait another week or two possibly as my application is already verified and all the other letters are ready to be sent. So what I'm wondering is, should I wait for this letter (I don't want to keep emailing him and bother him, I already sent him two emails he didn't reply too, and he usually is very good at replying)...since he could be out of town...or should I just go ahead and send in the packet I have with those 5 letters? I feel like I have some pretty good letters in there, but without this one, I will only have 1 science letter which is why I'm worried. What do you guys think? Thanks for your advice. 😕

do you have a phone number? or maybe drop by his office if you know where it is? I dont think you are being annoying though, he said he would do this for you, and Im sure he has been asked before therefore knows how important these letters are and all he needed to do is say no if he didnt have time. So I think you need to call him up and if that dosent work show up at his office. and if THAT dosen't work I would send him another email explaining that you were on a time crunch and sadly had to send the application in without his letter and you apologize for any inconvenience etc.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. However, if worst comes to worst, would I be ok with those 5 letters, even though its only one science?

Anyone? Would I still be alright if I sent the packet with just the 5 letters I mentioned above? (If it comes to that)
