This happened in Mexico but the details are really sketch. The person who administered thr anesthetic is not trained in it? The real wild west.

Miradry website says it’s done under local anesthesia. Maybe an intravascular injection.

lol right? Imagine being so inadequately trained in anesthesia to think that steroids had anything to do with this.
 
Seems totally unnecessary. And egregious if someone is doing it without training in anesthesia. I imagine this is just another case of oversedation and unrecognized hypoxemia. Common things being common.

Why? It takes 10 seconds to do and you don't need much sedation afterwards. At least the patient is very unlikely to die on the table with that.
