I have a question about personal statements. I did a quick search but did not find anything specific. If I am applying to a school that does pharmcas and also has a supplemental application, do I do the general essay on pharmcas as well as a different one for the supplemental apps? I know the supplementals usually have like an ethical type question or something like that, but they also have one like "why did you choose this school and pharmacy". Do I have to do a completely different essay than the pharmcas one?

well for the pharmcas essay, you weren't suppose to write about why you wanted to attend a particular school which would make the pharmcas question and the "why did you choose this school" two entirely different questions which require to different responses

Well I understand that. I just can't imagine writing two long essays with the same type of basic core (about pharmacy school and why I want to do it). But the more I think about it, I guess it's not so bad.

Thanks!

"why did you choose this school and pharmacy"

Yeah, I am trying to work on a supplemental that has a similar question, but you can touch upon such reasons as due to location, reputation, assessable professors, class size, career guidance. How does going to that school seem right for you?
