another question about thank you notes!

Is it ok if I send my interviewer a thank you note care of the admissions office without sending the admissions office a thank you note also? we just had a 20 min info session from the admissions office and I usually just send a thank you to my interviewer. is it inappropriate to just send a card addressed to my interview c/o of the admissions office to have it forwarded to my interviewer by them?

I think that's fine. Usually people just send interviewers thank-you notes; they don't send a special one to HR (for jobs) or the admissions office (for schools). As far as I know, anyway.
