I read some things from: http://students.washington.edu/aed/newlink/minutes.htm

From what I gather you get an interview if you are
WA resident, 3.5 GPA, 9 each section on MCAT.

But they weight your GPA only using year 1, 2, 3. What if you are not applying your third year in undergrad? What if a person spent more than 4 years in undergrad?

Also, i read that a computer screens people out based only on numbers. But, somone named "Dr Samson" looks at each person screened out for exceptions.
How nice.

UW is one of the top schools for medicine in the nation, if not the top.

With that being said, it is somewhat difficult if you are not under the wwami program.

I know of one person who had 4 undergraduate degrees with approx. a 3.5 gpa and did not get accepted. I have heard of people with a slightly lower gpa but with more experience get accepted.

So, it is hard to say for sure. I think experience combined with a solid gpa helps.

i am a WA state resident. here for undergrad as well...at WWU

It doesn't matter if you spent more than 4 years. The formula still holds.

Fewer than three years when you apply? I imagine that's a rare case.
