I agree. Take a review course and double up on studying for the DAT. Unless you were a U.S. Senator or child thereof, or a multimilliondollar donor to the school I think your application would be much stronger with better DAT scores.
I've heard that 16 is the cutoff at Tufts-in case you love it. Case's DAT scores this year are through the roof according to their admissions office - but they don't publish a minimum.
