So I'm supposed to take the DAT on the 22nd, but depending on what scores I get (and how comfortable I feel) after taking a topscore test this saturday, I will decide to postpone it or not till winter break.

My question is, if I decide to postpone it, could it possibly work to my disadvantage since I will be taking school while studying for the test. Might I not forget a lot of what I've learned in the past three months??

I think I might be able to dedicate maybe 1-3 hours a day for studying for the DAT during fall quarter. Love to hear what you guys think. The more the responses the better!

if you feel ready. then do it. I would assess your progress with the Topscore or Achiever test and then decide. Do keep in mind that you really dont need to take the test until spring/early summer next year! So, if you are feeling unconfident about it then I wouldn't force it.
