If I'm going to start applying next year, to hopefully start med school on 2011. Can I register on the AMCAS website already? Because I went in there and it says that you can start your 2010 application. I'm confused because I read in some other threat that the applications come available on May or June or something like that. Could someone clarify this for me? Thanks 🙂

The 2010 application is for Fall 2010. You can register to see what it looks like, but it won't save for the next year. Your application should come out in May 2010.

Ok so I could use the 2010 to sort of "see" the information that I need and how the application is filled out..but next year when the 2011 applications come available I'd have to fill a new one but it would still be with my AMCAS ID that I just created etc.?

Yeah, you'll have the same sign in info. I believe it's the same info that you'll use for the MCAT too.
