i'm having trouble teasing apart the subtle differences between these three programs:

Wake Forest
UAB
UF

I know the big stereotypes/gimmicks (WF - small town, dismal for singles?, UAB - overtime!, UF - hard working, night float).

Has anyone else been considering these three, and what are your thoughts on any potential strengths/weaknesses? I liked all of them better than some of my big northeast interviews... they all seem to be similar in many regards - smaller towns, strong training in all areas, great reputations, etc.

just humor me. this is giving me a headache.

Of the three, I only went to Wake and felt that it lived up to its reputation as a top program. The concern I have with the program is that they are decreasing the number or residents for the incoming class. I didn't feel like the reasoning behind this decision was adequately explained, and I believe this will impact the resident workload in the future. This may or may not be a big deal and only time will tell. Other than that, certainly a fantastic program with exceptional regional and OB training. Good luck with your decision.
