another weird keyhole

how is the answer B? lol im just depressed, i would NEVER see the answer to this

what a bad question. I can see how the answer is B, but first instinct to 99% of the PATers out there would be to choose A...i'm pretty sure both are right answers...😕

Anyhow its B based on width of the space.

A is incorrect based on the front view.

Note the "arms" the left arm is longer. But in the front view it is shown that the space to the right is larger.

C is incorrect that from the front view, the arm lengths match up with the view provided. But when you look from the end view, its too short on the left side.

choice D is a mix of A and C errors.

check out the picture I uploaded versus yours. since it might be too small.

Look at the end view...the dotted lines are more closer to the right side than the left side

Now imagine the diagram from the top view...we expect the dotted lines to mean that part of the diagram that is behind the object we are looking at i.e the vertical stick/ rectangular stick

So it should be more closer to the top of the vertical part of the digram and farther from the bottom of the digram...

But if we look at C, its the exact opposite..the so called 'dotted-lines' would be farther from the top than the bottom, if we were looking at C from end view

As for its being B rather than A... i agree with the above post as to A's horizontal lines having equal width whilst B's horizaotal lines width seem to fit the description
