I have submitted only the primary app for 2014-15 cycle, but haven't completed it due to the 22 back in July. I just got back my Jan mcat scores of a 25...
(It's probably not a good idea to finish the apps for even the schools with lower stats, right?)
(And would I still be considered a reapplicant in this case?)

So, I do plan on applying first-day early, and after stalking posts, I compiled a new list of schools to apply to,
KYCOM
CUSOM
VCOMS (select ones or all?)
LECOM
WVCOM (I hear their in-state bias is not that bad?)
NYIT (my stats may be a bit low for them, but I hear they do love NY residents? am I still too low?)
Tuoro Middletown (they are accredited as an extension, i believe?)

I know Goro would probably tell me to apply broadly; could any of you perhaps reccomend some schools that I would have a shot in?

I do plan on (likely) utilizing the HPSP, so tuition costs will not matter to me (as much)..

any other advice, comments, even those that may hurt feelings, are welcome...

and thank you.

Your past experience will definitely be the central piece of your application, so make sure you highlight them in your primary application and personal statement. Having said that, your stats are a bit low for some of the DO schools, but I'm sure you already know that based on your school list. If money is not a concern, I would suggest adding a few more schools according to your own preferences (locations, curriculum, etc.), though you should expect less love from schools that prefer high MCAT (Touro-CA and NY, AZCOM/CCOM). Lastly, try to ace any course you are still taking; a strong upward trend will be very beneficial. You could also consider retaking courses (with C/D/F grades) to boost your GPA.

First off, Thank you for your service.

Retake Any F/D/C classes, you need to get that GPA >3.4 preferably. Your MCAT is pretty lack luster: PS is ok but BS 8 is not great, from what I've gathered, DO schools tend to weigh BS higher than PS. When you apply, make sure to ask the schools if they use most recent/best/average MCAT(s).

I think your extracurriculars are pretty good. Definitely apply broadly add LMU-DCOM.

Good luck, I wish you the best.

Your list with your scores is very reasonable, I think you have strong chances of getting iis.
A 25 for schools like KYCOM, LMU-DCOM, WVSOM is perfectly acceptable.
If you have any C's or lower I'd recommend a retake.
But yes, you are considered a reapplicant, so don't submit the exact same primary.

Submitting secondaries right now most likely wouldn't do any good. You could try at places like WVSOM but it probably won't be more than a waitlist.

I got in with a 25, slightly lower cGPA and slightly higher sGPA. Apply early and broadly and do well on secondaries and you should get at least one acceptance.
