Hello everyone! So I have already applied to AMCAS and have been pushing off my MCAT bc I haven't felt prepared. I am taking it in a few days, but l'm not very confident. I'm assuming l'll get a 498-500 range. I just give up, l've been studying for months and need to just take it. I want to apply to AACOMAS this cycle because I'm already taking one gap year (really don't want to take more). My dream school is MUCOM. Idk if I have a chance. I am an in-state applicant. I have a

3.63 CGPA and a 3.5 sGPA. I have had several hours of research, publication, 4 leadership positions (including president of Pre-med club), I was a medical assistant and a patient care tech, I was a lab TA, I volunteer at the free clinic, l'm a volunteer receptionist for a medical interpretation company, I've been a Sunday school teacher for a few years, and i do other volunteer on the side. I have also attended the MUCOM conference.

What chances do I have to get in with my low stats? I'm hoping being in state will help Thanks in advance!!

Don't be too hard on yourself about your MCAT score. You've got a solid GPA and tons of impressive experiences. Being an in-state applicant can definitely help your chances at MUCOM. Just remember to manage your expectations and consider applying to other DO schools too. You've got a strong app, so fingers crossed!
