Another Work/Activities Question

Sorry, but I got another question:

I'm really obsessed with traveling and meeting new people (in and outside of the US). Can I put this as a hobby under the work/activities section. Like somebody said, it gives the adcom another 1300 characters insight into myself as a person and my passions. What do you think? Thanks

Personally, I would save that for the interviews and/or secondary applications.

Yeah, if you have another activity that you can add that info to (without it sticking out), use it. Like, I wanted to say I'm am open-minded and associate with a wide variety of people and I lived in a philosophy and arts dorm.
