1)At 0 degrees C a 1.00L flask contains 5.00x10-2 moles of N2, 1.50x102 mg O2, and 5.00x1021 molecules of NH3. What is the total pressure in the flask?

2)How many N atoms are present in 53.2g of aluminum nitrate?

Havefun.

hey do my chem homework too!

ANSWERS
1)1.41 atm
2)4.53x1023 atoms

No kid, its not my homework.

Why is it that pre-meds are often ridiculed for being nerds?

Oh yeah. 🙄

What a great and made-for-television response ONYX4000GT. Hahaha. Too funny

Oh I see so you're just one of those that love chemistry so much that you'll post super thought provoking questions at 8:25 am. LOL ridiculous. Go look in the back of the textbook for more answers. In fact, you're probably scrambling to work out the solution right now just to prove me 'wrong' and say oh look 'kid' i have the solutions too.

It's too early for this, say what you want and defend yourself however you want I really could care less. I'm done here. Have fun making more love to general chemistry.

I don't think those problems are fun and frankly I need the practice...🙄

US Marine for 4 years, 3 combat tours, paying my way through college... Hardly a nerd.. Interested in succeeding in college, yes.

First you think the questions are my homework, now you say theyre simply questions from the back of the book and Im looking for the solutions... youre a fool. stop wining.

Actually there is a thread like this in the allopathic forum where med students try to stump eachother with cases. Its not a bad idea. I think the thread is called "lets see how smart we really are" and for a while, it was pretty popular.

for those of us who have owned a textbook, we know that many of the chapter questions also have answers in the back, not solutions to get to those answers. and my point was that maybe you would try to work out those solutions in order to try to prove that you didn't simply look up the answers in the back.

i can't believe i'm still arguing about this. it really does make me out to be the 'kid' you call me.

either way, regardless of if it's your HW or not ONYX, i hope you can atleast see where i'm coming from with my accusation. i've been on this site long enough to see lazy people ask their HW questions that I become skeptical when posts like yours appear (and you'll see plenty more in your SDN lifetime). maybe it really is your HW and you really are just doing this for fun. either way, there's no way to prove either of us right. so im just gonna drop this. sorry if i'm wrong but not sorry if i'm right. good luck.

p.s. wine is what you drink

I didnt type "wine" I type "wining" --I know its not "winning" or "yning" or "wuyning" or "wyning"

but it's not "whining" either.

if you'd like to find out how to do these problems, indicate that in your thread.

Dude, if you can't answer #2, you are ROYALLY SCREWED! That is HIGH-SCHOOL level Chemistry (so is #1, I guess.) I can't wait to see what you're going to post when you get to Ochem!

Is it bad that I dunno how to do those of the top of my head?

Holy crap, I can't believe some of you are flaming over this. He is just doing it because I made a thread last night encouraging some people to post random questions to counter some of the crap we read on this board.

Are you really so insecure that you have to bash someone for doing something different? Grow up.

A) I know the problems.
B) No one cares about how smart you think you are.
C) Your opinions about the problems I posted are of absolutely no importance.
D) You answer is incorrect. The correct answers are:
1)1.41 atm
2)4.53x1023 atoms
-Move on to the next thread, maybe there they will think you are another Steven Hawkings. You are of no use here. Thankyou for trying.
