I really would LOOOVE to see them change "Hispanics" to "Latino". All hispanics are latinos, but not the other way around.

I think you could safely check yes, you are and would like to be considered a minority. I don't think anyone would disagree with you either. As cited per Wikipedia:

you have to be a minority in dental field.
And No you cannot check the box. when they ask you why do you consider yourself minority? what will you say. ohh b/c you are a mix so you consider yourself a minority. Then like 80% applicants would be minority some people have like mad mix like 25% Italian, 25 %american, 13% Chinese etc...

Thanks for the information doc toothache. However, I'm afraid this thread is going to turn into a flame war against minorities and AA. FYI, I do have competitive enough stats. I was just wondering about the question, thanks guys. I'll ask a mod to lock the thread before it gets bad.
