Answers to NBME released tests?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of released answers to the NBME released practice tests other than that posted on the Kaplan website. Thanks!

Bear in mind that NBME charges money for the 4 tests on their site, and to the extent any response links to a file actually containing those QUESTIONS, it is a copyright violation. SDN is not a proper resource for such.

Huh? I took the purchased tests and was just wondering if there was a way to check my answers. I was just wondering if the answers were posted someplace on the NBME or Kaplan website that I wasn't aware of, since I'm pretty tech slow and it takes me a while to find stuff.

I'm not aware that the answers are officially released. I posted to preempt the posting that someone made yesterday where they linked to screen images of the entire actual NBME exams with answers at the end.

(from the looks of the above post, lawdoc has the files, as one wouldn't know they had the answers at the end without having looked at them)

Um no. I looked at the contents of the link that was posted the other day to see what it was. That post has since been removed. Please do not refer people on SDN to other sites for piracy purposes.

To my knowledge, there are no legal copies of the questions with answers to the NBME forms.

There are however illegal versions out there. However, SDNs Terms of Service prohibit the sharing, soliciting, or otherwise instructing of how to obtain these materials in the forums.

if you don't care about taking the nbme to simulate the timing of the real thing......then you can just buy the un-timed (4 hours per section) test and go over each block w/ some classmates directly after you take each block

yeah, thats the skinny that i got. do the untimed version at whatever pace you feel like, then you supposedly have plenty of time to copy the questions in a word file that you can pour over later in greater detail.

This is more than likely a violation of the Terms and Conditions I'm sure they make you agree to before you take the test.

yeah, i was a little worried that i may have violated something there. but, given i hadn't read any terms and conditions yet i'll plead ignorance. thanks for clarifying.

forgive me
