Do we have to know about anterograde and retrograde transport across axons? And how about dyein and kinesian transport on microtubules?

Also what do we have to know about dendrites besides that they cAn attach on to many axons? Finally what about non neuron cells such as glia astrocytes etc?

You dont have to know any of the motor proteins, although you do have to know about the cytoskeleton, such as the microtubules, intermediate filaments, and microfilaments.
For dendrites you have to know the structure and function. I believe the same goes for the supporting cells you mentioned.

Go to http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/preparing/creatingstudyplan.htm
on the far right there is a link to the exact content that you have to know for the test. It worked for me.
