MD & DO Antihistamines and Parkinson's

Does anyone know of the mechanism(s) by which Antihistamines worsen Parkinson's disease?
(Context: Prescribing anti-emetics for PD - consultant recommends domperidone as apparently cyclizine is an antihistamine which, like prochlorperazine, may exacerbate Parkinson's disease.)

Even for anti-emesis in PD? Would you prescribe it over domperidone? My consultant (UK attending) was pretty adamant on the latter.

Domperidone is safer.
