I am waitlisted for my #1 choice (Louisville). Just wondering if ANYONE has been pulled from a waitlist recently?

Judging from your previous posts, Awesome Teeth, do you have any encouragement for individuals on these forums, or do you get off by preaching from your obtuse soapbox of unwarranted authority?
To the OP, at this stage in the game your odds aren't great. If you're holding out for Louisville, you might simply want to call and see if the class is full and if they're still pulling off the wait list so that you can go ahead and make future plans.

Never said I was an authority in anything. Not sure where you're getting that from.
I'm encouraging to people who need encouragement. Not people who have no idea what theyre talking about or post useless topics. Isn't your advice to OP the same as mine? Holding out for wait list at this point = give it up.

My apologizes if you have deemed my questions to be "useless" or that I have "no idea" what I'm talking about. I assure you that you are off-base. My questions and the answers I receive are useful to me and I do know what I'm talking about.

DavidLynd, what exactly is the point of posting this topic? If I told you that 5 people moved off the waitlist today, would it matter to you? That doesn't mean you are going to move off it. Those could be the last 5 people that get in. If you get a call, congratulations. If you don't, you're just worrying and fretting over nothing. You can't control anything now. That's what I'm trying to say.
I would give you a hug right now if you're searching for kindness.
What's the point of you responding? Aren't you a rising D2? Why are you wasting time on a predental forum? I'm just killing time here and there till dental school starts in a few weeks; not sure what you're objective is. How about do everyone a favor and if you don't have anything nice or constructive to say, then don't. Unless, of course, you get your jollies from raining on everyone's parade, in which case what a wonderful person you must be. A word of advice: everyone could use encouragement, always.
