How do you guys feel about what occured in your country recently? The shootings? Anyone have family ties there? What is the word on the street?

i feel horrible about it but i have never been there as i was born and raised here-so no firsthand account. i do have some distant relatives back home but they are in a diff part. its sad that those civilians were killed but i understand that the shooter had some problems of his own. i also worry for his family because i hear that they had to be taken into protection because of all the scrutiny they were facing from people...overall its not a win win situation at all. hate war 🙁

I was born in Middle East so I have no connections back home and never visited the country. Whatever is going on in Afghanistan is a waste of time and our resources.

I have a friend who is going to start dental school this fall. She's half pathan/pashtun. I don't think she knows any Pashto though...

Are you a full Pathan? I don't know any Pasto despite being a pathan.
