remore said:let me start with the question, why in lungs air become subatmospheric during inspiration
muscleman7911 said:Hi,
I am a guy, sorry if that affends this discussion but thought this question was simple and decided to ans 😀
Because of the vacuum created by the expansion of the chest wall.
All the best for all of ya. 👍
remore said:that doesnt matter much whether a male or a female to participate in discussion .
my question is if it expnds the air from the atmosphere comes in but in atmoshere pressure is atmospheric how this becomes subatmosheric when these pressure like surface and elasticity and expansion of chestwall competes, how will it becomes subatmospheric.did you get my question?may be a simple one but i was lttle confused
muscleman7911 said:Since the air in atmosphere enters a vacuum and enters a space with low pressures it attains subatmospheric pressure. [there is a low pressure created during inspiration because of vacuum hence the pressure difference sucks in air which is of higher pressure. Once it reaches the negative pressure space, there is balancing taking place.
Correct me anyone if I am wrong and hope this answers your question.
(similar to mixing hot water with cold water
hot water-atmoshperic pressure-air
cold water- subatmospheric pressure- air
mixing hot water looses temp and cold water gains temp- balancing)
remore said:usually alveoli contains atmospheric pressure but on dialation of alveoli pressure becomes subatmospheric, so air flows form high atmospheric pressure to lower atmospheric pressure .
do you think i am right.
