Any average scores on achiever and 20+ on real DAT?

Ive taken all three achiever tests and have been discouraged after everyone. 17 TS for all three After each of the first two tests I would take the time to go over all the questions and learn how to do them. After regaining some sort of confidence I would attempt another test and score the same. I am pretty frustrated...I am a non traditional that didnt have any science background....went back to school and took all the prereqs this past year and ended up with a 3.82 science gpa. I put in the time and aced all the courses (made some B's in some labs) and never once was I worried about making the grade. My performance on these achiever tests have me very worried. Has anyone scored significantly better on the real deal compared to their achiever scores?

i know it varies from student to student...but for my sciences...i took the last acheiver test the day before my real exam and i got a 14 bio 15 gchem and 15 ochem. That really discouraged me but the next day on the real thing I got a 18 bio(not as good as i had hoped) 19 gchem and a 22 ochem with a 19 TS. Achiever is usually supposed to be harder so as long as you dont choke on the real thing and focus youll be fine. Trust me after taking the real DAT i learned one key thing; aside from allllllll the studying we all talk about, alllllll the destroyers blue books and bio outlines, if you aren't confident before and during your test, you will not do well regardless of how much you studied, period.

Don't worry jaylee, dont let achiever let you down. I took the real thing on monday and got a 22 on bio, 20 on chem and 21 on orgo. I gor 17/16/17 TS in the three achiever tests. Achiever is just way to specific and way harder than the real DAT. IMHO, of all the test prep material that I used (Destroyer, cliffs, kaplan book and subject tests, Top Score and Barons) Achiever as the farthest fron the real thing. I wish I had saved that money for something more useful...

so, dont get stressed, you will do fine. Take top score and that will tell you more or less where you stand. I found top score a bit easier that the real DAT but not by much. with 17 TS in Achiever, ull end up getting 20+ on the real DAT.

Glad to hear you guys did so well and found the achiever as tough as I have been....definitely gives me hope that I can do much better. Great advice and most importantly thanks for putting me back in good spririts. Good luck to yall!

GOOD TO HEAR!!!!!!!!
My test is this Saturday, and I took the achiever tests and got around 17s all for all three. I feel bio is REALLY hard. I've been getting 14-16 on bio but orgo and chem I've been getting 18-19. I have done the destroyer around 3 times now. Hope I am ready. Cheer up you all!!

What about achievers PAT??? I just took the first achiever test and bombed the PAT getting 14, but 17, 19, 18 on bio, gchem and ochem respectively...

I found the PAT to be ridiculously hard!!

PAT is not nearly as hard...the only things comparable are cube counting, angle ranking, and pattern folding. TFE, Keyholes, and hole punching are considerably easier, so don't stress. I'd still practice, but you'll be fine.
