I keep reading and reading, and then forgetting everything, whether out of stress or just plain stupidity. And I've developed a phobia of soaps. Anyway, are you prepared? It's too bad we only get 2 chances in the year to write it. I wish they'd use the American system and let us take it when we felt like it. As if we're not stressed out already....

I hear you on the tired thing. But with your stats, I think you could definitely get into U of T if you write the Canadian DAT, unless of course you want to move to the States. At least there's no organic on this one! 😀

au5233, those are some stellar stats... how did you find the american DAT? when did you take it and have you ever done the canadian DAT? which one is harder???? believe me studying for the canadian dat is fun! i m studying for both, i hate orgo and QR>>> how long did you study for american dat? Hey Guys,

I started studying for the American one June 1st and went right up until the end of august. Did you guys say the Canadian one dosn't have organic? I hope it does...that was my highest score on the american one! I'm from Ontario so I am planning on applying to western, toronto, and either Dalhousie or BC. But for some reason I think I want to go to the states...although U of T seems to be one I'd be pretty excited to go to.

oops sorry forgot to answer all your questions. I wrote the american one on Sept28th. I have not ever written the Canadian one (or american prior to this time). I hear the canadian MAY be a tad bit easier...but who knows. Its all a matter of perspective.

Exactly. November is right when all our term papers and midterms are, so my DAT study time is being pushed off to the side in favor of keeping my GPA up. I've been studying since the end of August, but I feel like I should have started last January.


au5233 ~ Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Canadian one doesn't have organic or QR, but carving instead. Actually, if you were taking the French one, you wouldn't have RC either. I'm aiming for U of T as well, but seeing how brutal undergrad has been here, the dental school's probably not going to treat me better.
