Any CAPD premeds?

I'm having concerns with my communication ability, and it's badly affecting my school and relationships. I met a doctor to discuss it and he suggested that I have a CAPD. From what he described and from my own research, it really seems like I have the disorder. It takes $500 to do a CAPD diagnostic test so I'm hesitant to do it. I read that there isn't any good treatment for it yet. I'd be interested if any of you fellow premeds have/had this disorder and how you coped with it.
