Hey everyone. Can you give me a little well needed advice. I'm applying for the 08 year and need to know if I have a shot at all. I took the DAT a couple of weeks ago and didn't do all that well. Here's my noose...I mean results:
PAT:19
QRT:13 (ran out of time!!!!!!!)
RC:21
BIO:18
GC:15 (what the?)
OC:17
TS:17
AA:17
GPA: 3.00 exactly (science and non-science)
Volunteer: 1 1/2 years (general, pediatric, orthodontic)
Research: Undergrad for 2 years
Strengths: Older (27), Married (w/ a child), Loads of real world experience (tons of community experience in particular), African-American (I know it shouldn't matter but I also know firsthand that it does, just trying to give you as much info as necessary that can help in your replies)
So, the above results pretty much stink. But, I wanted to hear from somebody who can give me a little reality (I'm sick of hearing family/friends say that your definitely going to get in). Thanks. Here's looking forward to the obvious rejections coming my way 🙁.
