I have all of the DAT Destroyer books, but Im so lost on how to study them. What supplement did you use? Any videos?
Here’s how the Organic Chemistry Odyssey, General Chemistry Destroyer, DAT Destroyer, Dr. Romano’s Biology Review, and Math Destroyer are meant to be used together as a system:
Think of the Organic Chemistry Odyssey and General Chemistry Destroyer as concept-building, topic-focused learning books. They are organized into chapters, so you can study one topic at a time (for example acids and bases, equilibrium, reactions, spectroscopy) and learn the concepts through problems and detailed solutions. These books are designed to teach and reinforce understanding, not just test recognition.
Dr. Romano’s Biology Review serves the same role for Biology. It is a structured set of notes that covers the fundamentals needed to understand biological concepts, including the biochemistry required for the DAT. Many students use the Biology Review first to build a foundation, then apply that knowledge to the Biology questions in the DAT Destroyer, where concepts are tested in mixed, exam-style formats.
Once you are comfortable with individual topics, the DAT Destroyer is used to apply concepts across mixed, DAT-style questions, which mirrors how the material appears on the actual exam. The DAT does not test topics in isolation, so this step is critical for learning how to reason through questions.
For Math, the Math Destroyer is used to practice DAT-level quantitative reasoning through targeted problem sets. Many students pair the Math Destroyer with the hundreds of free

Also worth mentioning — students don’t need to buy extra books if they already have solid class notes or textbooks. Any review source is fine as long as it helps you get through and understand the DAT Destroyer questions and solutions.
A simple long-term study approach:
