Took DAT this morning and I am very disappointed with my scores.

PA 17
QR 18
RC 17
Bio 18
GC 18
OC 16
TS 17
AA 17

Overall GPA: 3.78 Science GPA: 3.8

I need to to know if I have ANY chances with these scores and my GPA.
I need to decide from these 3 choices:
1) Apply this cycle anyways
2) Retake DAT on Sep.3
3) Wait for the next cycle.

I need advice ASAP!!!

i think with that gpa you have some chance of getting in. i'm the other way around haha. low gpa and decent dat scores. im sure my options are similar to yours. apply early and to many schools. You can send in applications and still take the dat again. They'll put your file on hold until they see how you do i believe.

I think you should study really really hard for DAT again and retake it in a couple of weeks. If you haven't finished your application, do it as quickly as possible (you don't have to wait for the next DAT scores). Your gpa is great, but I noticed that more weight is put on DAT scores. And, there is nothing wrong with retaking the DAT.

If you can score a 20 or better on your September retake, I think you will still be fine.

Wouldn't that be considered late?
Also wouldn't that mean the schools will not review my application untill the scores are recieved?

That would be considered late, but it's the best you can do at this point.

Schools will start reviewing your application when your current DAT score gets sent out.
