I saw this topic started on another board recently, so I thought I'd pose the same question to you:

Has anyone heard anything back from your program after you accepted? Specifically information laying out more details about your funding (when it starts, how often it's paid, how it's taxed, etc.), if there is an orientation and when, when and how to go about registering, what exactly your assistantship is and will entail, and when classes start?

I haven't heard anything, and it seems a few people on another board were having the same issues. Right now I'm assuming that the program is busy with finals/end of semester things at the moment, and I might start to hear around mid-late May. If any one out there has already started your program, about when did you get all this information? I'd like to start planning my move and seeing what my life is going to be like in the fall.

I heard from my program mid-April that they'd be sending out an info package (funding details, housing, etc) "soon" but nothing has arrived yet. I'm getting a bit impatient too.

I'm waist deep in it already- I am searching for a field placement and I recieved an email today that registration and orientation materials are on the way. My new school email account has been active for a few weeks now.

My school just started sending out loan applications but all the other material they say will be sent no earlier than June.

I just received a registration form from my program, so at least I know my class schedule for the fall. They said after that they will send out loan and financial info.
I just hope orientation is not during the week that I am away!

Just got my package in the mail today.
Found out stipend is $1000 more than originally thought...which is always good news!

Also got my orientation schedule, and my TA assignment (introductory psych yeehaw), plus schedule for TA training.

I'm so excited now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haven't been here in a while because i forgot my password!! i have yet to hear from my school. they said that they will be sending out a packet soon, so i am biting my nails while i wait to hear.

i am dying to know what sort of an assistantship i have!
