I was hoping to get some feedback from some current Creighton students. Any information about your experience would be helpful. How do you like the school? Faculty? Clinical experience? Students? Thanks

here's the deal about CU... bottom line... it's a great school... I know I know... you would hear that from someone that goes to that particular school but ... about two application cycles ago... is it two already... sheesh... well anyhow... Im a second year here at CU dental... I asked the exact same question on this site... seeing was believing... the open invitation for visitation.. is a great opportunity for you to see the school and also... to meet the main people involved in the selection process... why is this a great school? Great teachers... especially during the heavy first two years... clinically... from what I hear and see... the most extensive clinical experience you can get ...bar none... just remember... there's no post doc specialty programs here... all work done by pre doct students... everyone seems ...for the most part... very happy here... nothing corny or weird... just satisfied with their decision to be in the program... yes it's hard.. but dentistry is hard... "there's no free lunch" but if you work hard ...you'll get what you want... do further research...you'll find that Creighton ranks up there in NBDE performance and research... check out the results from last year's NBDE I CU did it like phenoms... but don't get me wrong... this school is not full of gunners... just people that know how to do it when it counts.... hope that helps..

Recent grad of Creighton. I loved it there and feel I received an outstanding education. I do all my own endo and extractions and have referred out 5 patients since I started work in June. You will get more experience at Creighton than you would get just about anywhere else in the country excluding post grad work, AEGD, or GPRs. Go and take a look, and more than likely you will end up applying.

Not much to add. The other posters summed things up very well. Just a quick comment on facilities. The entire clinic is being updated this summer, so that every operatory has a computer, for a virtually paperless system with all digital x-rays.
