Any decision letter from Hampton ?

Did anybody received an acceptance letter from Hampton ?

I called them, they told me that they sent decision letters more than a week ago, I still haven't received anything from them.

A friend of mine who applied there last year and got rejected told me that she received her rejection letter really late, like in July. Maybe that is why mine is taking so long.

I haven't received anything either and I was interviewed in February. I called them several times, and they kept saying different things. One week someone would say that letters will be out the next week. The following week, someone else would say they were sent out last week beginning May 1. I don't really know what to believe but I did email the head of admissions and she said they will be out the week after graduation, which should be this week. My friend attends the pharmacy school there beginning in 2004, and she said she received an acceptance letter in July. So I guess we're on the same boat but hopefully we get something soon because the anxiety is killing me. Whether or not I was accepted or rejected, I just wanna know. Please let me know too if you received anything and good luck!

I also interviewed in Feb. and haven't received a response. I called Hampton around the 1st and was told the first set of letters were sent out April 28th and would continue to be mailed throughout the month of May. I was told that all responses should be received by June 1. Everyday I am anxious to leave work just to check my mail. I guess time will tell...

Have you guys heard anything yet? I sure haven't. If you ask me, how hard is it to send the same letter to everyone? You either accept or reject them, just change the name and address on the letter and type a new envelope for each person. I'm sure there's a program out there that will do that for them. Or you're on a waiting list. Do they even have a waiting list? Dude, if they're gonna reject me, I hope they don't think they're doing me any good by sparing me my feelings of being rejected 2 weeks later.

So I got some good news! Well I guess it's good news because that means we're not rejected as of yet. I was told that they have sent out the rejection letters for those who were not interviewed last week, and they will be sending letters for those being considered for acceptance or rejection this week after an interview. So any time this week guys. **Crossing fingers**

Yes, I hope that means we'll be receiving good news. Did the school tell you this? My fingers are crossed!

I emailed the coordinator of student affairs, and that is what she told me. You know when we get our letters, we should meet up and celebrate just because we finally got those darn things, whether or not we got accepted or rejected haha. Man, are we three the only ones here who applied to HU? Well, I hope the best for all of us =)

There are deadlines for Pharmcas, PCAT and supplemental application. Should there be a deadline for accept/reject letter? Would be pissed if they send me the rejection letter in July/August well after the 1st PCAT of the year. I don't mind if they send me rejection letter 1 month after the interview, at least I have prenty of time to consider other options.

The letter is so thin that I thought it was a rejection letter that I am so used to !!

Congratulations TCB 😛 ! I told you you'd make it! Shoot, we should all meet up. It will be good to know people from our class right from the start, wouldn't it? So we will all be familiar with each other. After all, we will all be together for the next 4 yrs! HURxDealer yeah I live in MD... and yes I wouldn't mind driving down there to get acquainted with the area, so we should meet. Also I am thinking about renting a room... How expensive are rooms for rent ? is there any close to campus ? do you like living in Norfolk ?? how old are you ? tell me more I am so excited.

Whenever Phrmgrl received her letter, we can all arrange to meet !
But then again, she lives in FL, I don't know if she will be able to travel all the way here to meet up before orientation. That would be nice though.

Well, I didn't quite get in to Hampton. I received the letter today which said I was on an alternate list. That's not good. I would think the chances of getting accepted after being put on an alternate list are slim. Good luck to you guys!
