just wondering if any SDNers were applying to East Tennessee State. if so, where are you in the application process?
i'm an out-of-stater but would love to get in to their program!

I'm applying there as an out of state applicant also. I'm running a little behind in the application process, my secondary was just complete earlier this week. What about you? Have you interviewed yet and if so how long did it take for you to be notified about the interview once your secondary was complete? Good luck!

same here, i'm late.
i just sent my secondary off on tuesday. i was hoping for some insight into the waiting game too. i think we may be too late seeing how they have already accepted 5 out-of-staters. hope not, though. i'd love to get into their rural primary care track! Are you looking at ETSU for rural med? they are highly ranked in that area. i don't think my stats are relly good enough for them as out-of-state, but i want to practice in that region one day (hopefully). do you have any insight into the school?

Wow 5 out-of staters already! According to brettp11's post about acceptance data they only accepted 8 out of staters last year...hmmm maybe we are a little late... Then again maybe they are just going to accept more out of staters this year! At any rate they only interviewed 31 applicants from out of state so at least if we get interviews we know we have a pretty good chance of acceptance. Oh yeah, the Rural Primary Care Track is exactly why I applied there. Btw- I know someone that was accepted there out of state with a 30 MCAT and and okay gpa from a lesser known state school so don't loose hope about your stats🙂
