If you do a search on engineers or engineering, you'll find about two dozen engineers on this website. I remember seeing Chemical and Civil engineers, but not any ME's.
I'm not an ME, but I've got 3 accepts (Michigan, UVA, Emory), 2 waitlists (Vandy, Georgetown), and 1 rejection (Stanford) so far. I've also withdrawn after being offered an interview from Northwestern and Medical College of Georgia.
How were your GPA/MCAT numbers? Everyone I talk to says "Oh, adcoms love people coming from professional backgrounds...", but of course, take if with a grain of salt........How long did you work in industry?
