Any free notarization??!!

Dear friends,
Thanks a lot for all your help so far.
I am wondering is there any place where we can get our transcripts notarized free of cost? I mean in US.
I know that we can get it done free, in India. But, I am in US at present.

Your bank will do it for you free of cost... whoever you bank with....

It depends on where you are, i am in san jose and there is no free notary, my bank doesn`t do it. Each page costs 5-10 dollars, does anyone know of a free notary in california.

I totally agree with you.
I just called the bank (Bank of America), they said NO.
I live in CA too.
Pls let me know if any one knows about free notary in CA

commerce bank does it for free.. you don't have to bank with them either...
not every commerce location has a notary so call first...

Try Wachovia or try another Bank of America, some branches say they don't, but some do. It all depends on the person at branch

I am also wanting to get a few notarizations,
and was wondering if the Officers in INDIAN CONSULATE can do it ?
i have beeen trying to contact them to get more informaiton,but no success so far,if anybody has a clue please let us know.
