I read the results from NEJM a while back that said Ginkgo usage in healthy adults had no significant effects on their concentration or memory, but Im just wondering if anyone out there takes Ginkgo supplements to help them out with their studies? I'm a pretty studious person, but towards the end of the day when I've been studying all day during exam week for instance I start to get really inefficient. I'm just trying to do everything I can to keep myself concentrating and being able to remember everything.. Anyone use this stuff? good or bad results?

Best way to answer this is to look for prospective randomized double-blind studies, or meta-analyses.

Or try it and see if it works for you. On an idividual basis, you don't care if it's placebo effect or not.

I can't take the stuff. It keeps me up all night.

This is when you need to eat, not take things like Gingko. Save your $ and buy a sandwich.

I couldn't help laughing out loud on reading this one.
Me either. Just watch what toxins you put in your body and don't show up for exams hung-over or whatever else, and that will improve your performance more than anything.
