Hey guys! For like the 3 or 4 people who read my last post about being depressed thought I would do a quick update. Took a leave of absence (the school didn't have a leave of absence policy but they made one up for me lol) Got therapy for my depression, got diagnosed with ADHD, currently trying medication for ADHD and taking some anti depressants. All in all life is good. Or as good as it can be with Covid-19 closing down anime conventions. Anyways I wanted to see if there was any good ideas for any online volunteering opportunities. Kind of a long shot but any that would be considered healthcare experience? I know you should be able see the patient in real life, but still would like to have a somewhat medical online volunteering experience if possible.

I second what the above poster mentioned. You definitely want to get out there and out of your comfort zone. However there may be some call center volunteering you could possibly do but I doubt any of it would be considered clinical experience.

What about volunteering at your local hospice? There is also the suicide and crisis hotline/text line. You may even get paid to work on a crisis hotline. In my area, they are all paid positions now.
