Any good post baccs still available to apply this cycle?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
UC postbacs are hard to get in because they are mainly looking for URMS. You either have to be URMS or have to show to them your desire to serve in under served communities. They also pick handful of students from hundreds of applications. There are other postbac programs in California. SFSU, CSU Eastbay, and etc. Some DO schools have postbac/smp programs as well (Western, and Touro). If you look through this forum, you will find more information.

Look up how to write a Letter of Intent, and cater it to each program you've applied for. It wouldn't hurt to follow up your email with phone calls checking your application. Be professional and courteous and ask if there's anything you can do to enhance the competitiveness of your application.

As mentioned above, CSU Eastbay has a thread in the forum and is purportedly a pretty good do-it-yourself program worth checking out.

Good luck!
