Hi does anyone know any good premed postbacc programs in southern california? I want to apply to medical schools but kinda have a low gpa. Helpful inputs anyone?

Many of the programs (USC, Chapman, Scripps) have a certain GPA cut-off that you must meed in order to be accepted to the "premed program". There are also other programs out there like UCI, UCSF, UCLA that require a lower GPA but take in to account living conditions, financial status, etc.... (whether or not you are/were underserved).

There is also the other option which is to apply as a 2nd Bachelor student at your local university. This way you get all the premed counseling, the letter service, and so on...

You can also just do-it-yourself by taking classes as an extension student, but the cost of classes are high.

Others just take their classes at a Junior College. There has been a lot of debate over this topic that you can search about in different threads.
