so I posted a thread earlier asking this but didnt get a response, so hopefully I get more people to see it this time around

for the AMCAS app, when entering the course work section, I do not have the option of labeling my grad school courses as taken as "Graduate," instead I just left it as "Senior" until I find out why it's like this. Has anyone else had this problem?

I sent an email to AMCAS asking about it but they havent responded yet(its been 2 days, so maybe they havent gotten to it yet)

I also don't know if that's necessarily a big deal, because AMCAS will verify the app according to my transcript and fix it, right?

thanks

did u add your grad school as another academic institution that you attended...even if it's the same college?

if you did, are you sure you entered it correctly, indicating that it was grad school?

thanks skinMD, i did not make grad school a separate entry since it was the same school for undergrad for a direct-to-grad school type of program. problem solved

cool...yea the instructions on AMCAS are pretty vague from what i remember....

glad i could help.... best of luck! :luck:

Quick tip. If it's the same school as your undergrad, and you already submitted your transcripts (AMCAS already received them), you need to contact AMCAS and tell them to check those transcripts that you already sent, or they won't register them. Wow that's a long sentence.

AMCAS told me that all you say is that you don't need a transcript for the grad school portion. You can make that selection when you add the school. I called them on the phone when they put my app "on hold" due to this.

It's funny though, last year, they just approved everything despite my not selecting "no transcript required."
