The government webpage is pretty tough to decipher. http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/shortage/ I can say that yes, the place where I worked as a tech sure does seem to be in an "underserved area," per the rules. On a 1 to 100 scale, anything less than a 62 counts as underserved. Our neighborhood was in the high 40s.
