why the prevalence of brain tumors has skyrocketed the past 5 or more years? GBM, the deadliest form of brain tumors, fom my understanding has been on the rise significantly over the last 5-10 years? Why?
Do any of you believe cell phone usage will/ can induce these in the future?

The link to cell phone usage has yet to be established despite extensive study, suggesting (at least to me) that if there IS a correlation it must be somewhat complicated. I believe that at least half of brain tumors are non-primary, meaning they've been transported to the brain from another location, so an increase in tumors of the brain could easily be accounted for by an increase in cancer of some other organ. A lot of old-timers are just now having their smoking habits catch up with them (lung), and McDonalds' is now bigger and badder than ever (colorectal), so...those would be my guesses.
